About Best Therapy Productivity Calculator
Best Therapy Productivity Calculator is a set of free tools for physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists in the United States. We help you answer the questions productivity targets create every day. What time can I leave? Am I on track? What does 85% actually mean for my schedule?
Why this site exists
Productivity targets shape a therapist’s whole day, yet most clinicians get the number without the math behind it. Existing calculators online often copy each other, skip sources, and don’t say who wrote them.
We wanted something better:
- Clear math, shown on every page with worked examples
- Real data, such as ASHA’s health care surveys, cited by name with links
- Transparency, with our formulas, sources and editorial process published for anyone to check
- Privacy, with every calculation running in your browser and nothing you type stored
Who we are
Best Therapy Productivity Calculator is run by a small independent team. We’re not affiliated with any employer, staffing company, EMR vendor or professional association.
Instead of asking you to take our word for it, we show our work:
- Every formula is published on our methodology page
- Every statistic links to its original source
- Every worked example can be checked by hand
We plan to add a licensed PT, OT or SLP as a clinical reviewer. When one joins, their name and credentials will appear here and on every page they review.
What we do and don’t do
| We do | We don’t |
|---|---|
| Show every formula and rounding rule | Give legal, billing or employment advice |
| Cite published sources (ASHA, APTA, AOTA, CMS, U.S. Department of Labor) | Invent averages when no reliable data exists |
| Update pages when rules or data change | Change dates without changing content |
| Keep calculations in your browser | Store or sell what you enter |
How we’re funded
The site currently has no advertising. If that changes, ads will never sit between a calculator’s inputs and its result, and advertisers will have no say in our content.
