Write for Us
We welcome practical articles from people who do the work: licensed physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists and their assistants, plus clinic managers and billing specialists. If you’ve found a better way to handle notes, scheduling or productivity targets, we’d like to hear it.

What topics do we want?
- Real ways you fit documentation into the paid day
- Setting-specific advice (SNF, home health, schools, outpatient, acute, IRF, peds)
- Talking with managers about productivity targets
- Supervising students and assistants
- Billing and documentation rules explained in plain English, with primary sources
- Burnout, workload and staying in the profession
What are our rules?
- Original and unpublished. Your own experience and your own words. Tell us if you used AI tools while drafting.
- Evidence where you make a claim. Link to the primary source (CMS, ASHA, APTA, AOTA, peer-reviewed research).
- No patient information. Change or remove any detail that could identify someone.
- No sales pitches. Mentioning a product is fine only when it helps the reader, and you must tell us about any relationship with it.
- We don’t sell links. Any link we keep is there because it helps readers.
- We edit. We may change wording for clarity, accuracy and style. You’ll see the final version before it goes live.
Every article follows our editorial policy.
How do you pitch?
Send us:
- Your name, credentials and state(s) of licensure
- A working title
- Three to five bullet points on what the article will cover
- One sentence on why you’re the right person to write it
